Chicken Supreme
If you are ever in Cork City and you happen to be in the old part of the inner city i.e. North Main Street and you happen to pass by Tony's Bistro then this is the restaurant for you?
North main street predates the Vikings and Christianity and for 1000's of years people have been trading there and if you happen to be in Tony's Bistro around lunch time then order 'From The Farmyard'.
Upon arrival you will meet a nice kind friendly staff who hand you a menu and if you manage to look around you will see an array of famous movie pictures and a backwards clock to which you have to look in a mirror.
After ordering they bring the chicken and stuff in a square plate and the vegetables in a separate dish to which i always lump the food on the plate and start noshing it.
The Chicken falls off the bone as you eat it which is the way chicken should be and they have this kind of gravy sauce there with sage and onion which makes it an interesting combination.
I am a large man of 200lbs approx and i find the meal difficult to finish, that is saying something?
If you are looking for something affordable and quick then Tony's Bistro is the place for you?
I give 9/10 for everything, i take 1 point off for the fact i never give a 10/10 and i found the one thing that annoyed me was being too close to people as you eat other than that the meal is class.
